Among them is a prediction that the USA's population would drop to a staggering 99 million (for comparison, the USA was home to 331 million people as of the 2020 census), with similarly sharp declines for several other countries. Some conspiracy theorists have claimed that this is evidence of a secret agenda to enormously reduce the Earth's population.

This market resolves YES if the number of people currently in the USA is or was ever at most 100 million at any point between market creation (January 5, 2024) and close (December 31, 2025). It resolves NO if the population never reaches this threshold. If it's impossible to know by 2030 what the true population of the USA in 2025 to enough accuracy to resolve this market, it resolves N/A instead. Note that this market pertains to the geographical extent of the USA as it existed in January 2024, not what it could be in future years.
