Seems if anything the new video has increased traffic not decreased so I'm doubling down here (on not much data, but it does seem to be well on track even if it slows down substantially, if you look at the views per day/total views of e.g. the Abbas video it still makes 1% more views per day after almost 2 weeks, even if Destiny's video slows down to that rate today we'd still be on track to make it, and at this point it's still going several times faster than that)
we're looking at 890k views after 4 days. that's only 110k shy of 1 million. and we still have 14-15 days left.
if you're considering shorting because lex uploaded a new episode, look at the fiona hill episode. it's been around for 11 days and for 8 of those days it has had to "compete" with the ben shapiro episode that succeeded it and ofc later on the destiny one as well. despite that and the fact that fiona hill doesn't even have the massive online clout destiny has it's gathered 800k views.
it's very very likely we'll reach 1m. maybe even by this week. i'm betting my (fake) life savings on it.
@ironlore99 well the question isn't just is it going to hit 1m, the question is if views will slow down enough that people stop doubting, and if they start selling because of doubt, then the price may fall.
@johnleoks Well, I've been keeping an eye on it and it's still gaining a couple K views per hour, there's a decent chance it will still make it if the rate of views doesn't start dropping off quicker. But with returns like these the risk is still worth a NO imo.
@johnleoks that’s what I thought too a couple days ago but really all it takes is a bunch of yay-sayers autistically refreshing the video and watching for 30 secs to add views… can you trust everyone not to cheat?
@chao Possibly, but only if it get really close could cheating happen to sway the views
@zebra Yea there's almost no reason to buy more YES shares at this point cause the stock is so highly valued to the point where even if you're right you won't make any returns. On the flip side, if you short/buy No shares and you end up being correct, you would make a killing when the stock goes all the way from 90% to 20%.
