The elections for the president of N Macedonia are about to be held on 24-APRIL-2024 (Wednesday). The system allows for a presidential candidate to be declared winner if any of the candidates have more than 50% of all votes, and if the voter turnout is above 40%. Here, we are interested in which candidate will obtain the most number of votes on the Presidential elections 2024 N Macedonia, 24 April 2024, which is the first round. The candidates are officially elected and put on a list by the state electoral commission (ДИК), and they are declared with the following decision

No new candidates can be added as the list is officially declared.

The candidates are listed in the same order as they appear on the ballot paper.

The results are declared typically the day after (25th of April), although in the case of disputes, it might take up to two weeks (before the potential date for the second round). Therefore, the initial date for resolution of this question is set on 26th of April, and it can be prolonged in case of disputes until 7th of May.

N.B. another important factor is that the Parliamentary Elections will take place in two weeks after the Presidential elections. The Parliamentary Elections are even more important, because the country is parliamentary republic (unicameral), where most of the power is wielded by the Government and the Parliament.
