I have been considering becoming pescatarian for some time now, since it seems like it’s more healthy for you and I don’t think that factory farming is ethical. Although my family buys free range meat, I can’t be assured that restaurants and other places I eat are buying meat from animals raised in reasonable conditions. I also think that eating animals might be similar to slavery, where we don’t realize that it’s bad in the moment but in the future we will think that people were “bad people” back then.

I will not bet in this market. You can try to convince me in either direction though!

Resolution criteria

Resolves YES if I decide to become pescatarian before May 6, and am pescatarian until at least June 6

Resolves 50% if I decide to become pescatarian and manage to be for at least one month, but decide to stop before the end of the year

Resolves NO if I decide not to be pescatarian or don’t manage to do it for a month.

I will be providing updates on this market so you can make informed bets. If I’m in a position where it would be very inconvenient or rude to not eat meat, it will not count against me for the purpose of this market (for example if I’m in the middle of nowhere and the only food is hamburger)
