Palestine has not held a presidential election since 2005, and not held a parliamentary election since 2006 (Wikipedia). Although there have been local elections, at the national level, Palestine has not held an election in 20 years.

This question resolves YES if Palestine holds an election recognizably national in character. A presidential election would count, a parliamentary election would count, but local elections would not count. A presidential or parliamentary election for a large fraction but not all of Palestine (e.g. just the West Bank) would count, if it purports and is widely understood to be a national election for Palestine.

The election needs merely to have substantively happened, regardless of its quality or results. For example, this question would resolve YES to elections in Palestine that are credibly accused of failing to be free or fair.
