Resolves YES iff employment among customer service representatives in May 2026 (as measured by series 43-4051 in the BLS' OEWS available here) drops 5% or more (is below 2,465,960) relative of observation for May 2025 (2,595,750).

If the series is discontinued, the question resolves N/A. The May 2026 figures are scheduled to be released in April 2027.

The BLS says the job of a 'customer service representative' is to "Interact with customers to provide basic or scripted information in response to routine inquiries about products and services. May handle and resolve general complaints. Excludes individuals whose duties are primarily installation, sales, repair, and technical support."
