Why shouldn't boosts count? They're a kind of profit which is pro-social (i.e. they encourage people to look into markets made by others) and the numbers generally seem to be quite small.

I imagine you could abuse boosts by using alts and whatnot, but that would be a separate issue.

In the past, the max boosts a person could see per day was lowered, specifically because some users were found to capture a lot of boost profit for leagues and it was thought they might be just clicking boosts to gain league profit, not to even consider the market.

The boost mechanism has changed a little now and they are causing you to dive into the market when you click them, which might help a little bit. But the boost cap per day has also increased again. I'm not sure if anyone is abusing it at this time.

I'm mainly betting No because I have doubts that this is a high enough priority to get someone's time and attention in the next 6 weeks, not as a judgement of whether it is a good policy or not.

@Eliza Personally, I'm incentivized to look for boosts each day in order to improve my league profit. I do give some thought to each boosted question and I make sure to place a bet on each of those questions (though often I don't really know much about the context, so my input isn't worth much so I only place a nominal bet). Without the benefit to league profits, I probably wouldn't bother. I know it's questionable to extrapolate from my own behavior to the behavior of others, but at the very least it's possible for this to be a good policy.

Same here. I am a heavy user of boosts, check my league standings. I take every one I find. I wish there were more boosts because my feed just keeps showing the same 10 markets a lot of the time.

I have asked for a lot of small things for leagues in recent months but the discussion never goes anywhere. Buying some no even though it seems like a good idea.
