To me the implication of "I've already invested a lot into games for my original Nintendo Switch" is that you would be losing something by switching over. So I just wanted to check and see if you know that the Nintendo Switch 2 has full backwards compatibility?

That does make me marginally more likely to purchase a Switch 2, although my point still stands that at the moment I can play most of the games I want to play without a switch 2..

@aristotle_135 That's fair! There also are add-ons for some of the bigger Switch 2 games that add new content and become much cheaper if you own the original game, and also provide some visual upgrades.

Will the market not extend after August?
