Resolution criteria

This market resolves YES if at least two Australian federal Members of Parliament (MPs) who were supported by Climate 200 during their 2025 election campaign officially register, announce, form, or join a new, distinct political party before 1 January 2027, Australian Eastern Time.

The formation of a party is defined as the official registration of a political entity with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC), or a formal, public joint announcement by at least two Climate 200-backed MPs confirming the establishment of a new party.

At least two of the MPs must join or announce that they will join the same political party for this market to resolve YES.
