The Ascension Council is held within 24 hours or so of the Queen's death. 200 people attended the Queen's Ascension Council. Will more than 200 attend this time for King Charles Ascension Council?

https://privycouncil.independent.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/2022-09-10-List-of-those-present-for-the-Accession-Council.pdf exactly 200 according to this official list. I guess it would be more if you count the king and his sons but we won’t and it will resolve NO.

Apparently St James Palace was slammed this morning, so I think it is almost impossible that less than 200 attended but I haven't yet found a specific number cited anywhere. I have read that the Ascension Council has 200 members and that it has 700 members, so I am trying to sort that out. Anyone have any info on this or watch it this morning?

@BTEF2P Part II of accession council is attended by privy counsellors of which there are currently ~700. Would not expect all to attend though and that room in St James Palace didn't look big enough to fit more than about 100. I'd guess at some point they'll update this page: https://privycouncil.independent.gov.uk/privy-council/the-accession-council/

sorry, this is the page that would be updated with list of attendees

@RobinFoster Excellent! thanks for sharing!
