I've had a interest in trading cards games for a while, but I was more interested in Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokémon. I know a few people who like Magic and I might be interested if I learn more about it. This will resolve YES if I believe that I have a significant understanding of the game, and am capable of playing.

I picked up a couple free 30-card decks, with a very basic rulesheet, at some event or other. It's probably $10 or so to pick up an intro deckbox with similar contents at your local mtg shop. Then just find someone to help you play it and ramp up from that to throwing in some more "real" cards...
@IsaacKing I don't think I need to know everything, just that I'm capable of playing an entire game without having to constantly ask questions to the other player or myself.
