If the Court holds that any challenged tariff measure is lawful and holds none unlawful before January 1, 2027, this question will resolve as Tariffs lawful.
If the Supreme Court holds that any challenged tariff measure is unlawful and holds none lawful before January 1, 2027, this question will resolve as Tariffs unlawful.
If the Court holds some challenged measures lawful and some unlawful before January 1, 2027, this question will resolve as Mixed ruling.
In event of any other ruling before January 1, 2027 in which the Court does not issue a merits holding on legality of any challenged measure (e.g., dismissal as improvidently granted, lack of standing, mootness, GVR, vacate-and-remand without a merits holding, a plurality with no majority judgment on legality) the question will resolve as Other ruling.
If the Supreme Court does not render any decision in any of the consolidated cases before January 1, 2027, the question will resolve as No 2026 ruling.
