@Gigacasting In 1990 (thirty years ago, since 2050 is thirty years from now), China was less than a tenth the GDP of the USA, but now it's just a bit behind. If China levels out at its current level or slightly more, and India has a similar growth trajectory as China but more population growth while China has a decline in population (as projected by the UN), this seems very plausible.
