This market resolves to YES if Tyler Robinson, the suspect charged with the murder of Charlie Kirk, enters a guilty plea to any of the charges against him before EOY 2025, as part of a deal to avoid the death penalty.
Robinson has been charged with aggravated murder and prosecutors have announced their intent to seek the death penalty. Under Utah law, defendants sometimes plead guilty to avoid execution.
Resolution criteria: This market will resolve based on official court records or credible news reports confirming that Robinson has entered a guilty plea as part of a deal specifically to avoid the death penalty. If Robinson pleads guilty without such a deal, or if no plea is entered by the resolution date, this resolves NO.
