Lindsey Graham, the Republican incumbent, was the nominee, but died on July 11, 2026. As such, there will be a special primary held on August 11th to decide the nominee.

Per South Carolina law, a special primary will be held on August 11 to replace Graham on the ballot. South Carolina governor Henry McMaster will appoint an interim replacement to hold office until the seat is filled in this election.

This market will resolve N/A for any candidate who isn't the Republican nominee at the time of the midterm election, YES if that candidate wins, and NO if they lose.
