Naked sigulaeiries are theoretically possible in our current model of physics and spinning black holes. However, many physicists believe something must exist to make these types of singularities impossible.

This market resolves to YES if definitive evidence arises of an actual naked singularity. This market resolves to NO if a proof is constructed demonstrating that naked singularities are actually not possible.

The title says physically possible, but the description says it has to be actual, so which is it?

predicts NO

@StevenK Current theory says they are physically possible, but by physically possible I mean can actually exist in the real word. A requirement for this question to resolve YES would be measuring a black hole spinning fast enough to produce a naked singularity and having some evidence the singularity is naked, so actually physically existing vs theoretically possible.
