The Dutch housing market continues to experience significant price growth due to persistent housing shortages, like in many other places.
The Dutch organization 'Kadaster' publishes reports every quarter on the state of the housing market in the prior quarter (in dutch): https://www.kadaster.nl/zakelijk/vastgoedinformatie/kwartaalberichten/kwartaalberichten-woningmarkt
For example, according to the report on the market in Q4 2024, we can read that the average sale price of a house was €462 000: https://www.kadaster.nl/-/woningmarkt-4e-kwartaal-2024-meer-verkopen-meer-koopstarters?redirect=%2Fzakelijk%2Fvastgoedinformatie%2Fkwartaalberichten%2Fkwartaalberichten-woningmarkt
This question concerns the report on Q1 2025, which will be published in a few months, and the report on Q2 2025, which will be published this summer.
This question resolves to YES if the average sale price for a house in Q2 2025 is higher than in Q1 2025 and NO otherwise.
It resolves whenever the Kadaster publishes the report on Q2 2025.
This question is unaffected by other organizations which publish data on house prices.
The question is also unaffected by the volume of houses sold or the type of housing, and it's unaffected by the rental market.
We're only interested in the average sale price.
