My cursor spend was getting out of hand last year so I got ChatGPT Pro around November but was sceptical since Claude was the only model I used over Cursor. To my surprise I was very happy with Codex and created this market: /Soli/will-i-think-chatgpt-pro-is-worth-2. I then was curious to try Claude Max and created this market: /Soli/will-i-think-claude-max-is-worth-20. I still preferred Claude Codex over Codex and created the following related markets:/Soli/which-one-will-end-up-being-my-favo (Resolved Claude) and /Soli/will-i-still-be-using-claude-code-b
Since then I have been a huge fan of Claude Code and the company I am working at to get everyone Claude Max subscription and gave tens of presentations and onboarding sessions to everyone so they get up to speed. I kept my Codex subscription and would give it a shot every now and then but Claude Code remained my main coding agent. However, recently this changed after OpenAI released a couple of new features that are very important for me. Specifically, support of remote environments and the ability to see git changes, review PRs and open files through both the Codex Desktop and Mobile apps, so now I fully switched to using Codex and now I pushing everyone at the company to do the same. I wonder if I will still be using Codex as my main coding agent by the end of the year.
I won't be betting on this market.
