The Supreme Court has ruled in TRUMP v. ANDERSON that

the Constitution makes Congress, rather than the States, responsible for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates

Will Congress disqualify Trump from holding office? Resolves to YES if Congress disqualifies Trump from holding office under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, at any time before inauguration, whether before or after the election. If Congress later votes to remove the disqualification by a two-thirds vote of each House, this still resolves to YES.

By the end of the year?

@Joshua What other deadline would make sense?

@Snarflak End of the year is good, just wanted to make sure.

@Joshua I guess they could disqualify after he takes office? As an alternative to impeachment? But I think this bet should only focus on before taking office. I will extend it to inauguration.

@Snarflak Sure, until inauguration makes sense.

@Snarflak It's also possible that they could do it even if he loses, to prevent a 2028 run. But ending this at the end of 2024 (or better yet, November 5th) is sensible. The title should probably be revised to reflect this though.
