Is the "new percentage" function broken on multiple option markets? Or would buying 800 of anyone flip things (even though there appears to be >10000 on Yudkowsky)?

E.g.

@SirSalty Sorry if this isn’t the place, but: I’d recommend AI risk, even though Destiny hasn’t talked about it much. Destiny has been fairly dismissive about it in the past, and I think this is an area it would be worth changing his mind on. Eliezer would presumably agree. But Destiny would need to know that prompt in advance and given incentive to prepare; if he doesn’t have a strong position on it beforehand he’s unlikely to leave with one.

@CuylerBrehaut ai risk would be boring imo. destiny is really really not versed in it.

IMO Aella and he would vibe best, they've had good conversations on stream before and both can enjoy really really weird conversations.

Rather than one topic, one could give them a moderator with a list of some of the more popular markets in the site and then ask them to make bets in each as they discuss/debate.

Actually, thinking about it more I figure that Destiny and Robin Hanson could have quite a rousing debate on Futarchy.

Robin invented the concept, and I think if he could take the side of defending its merits then Destiny would have a fun time arguing against it.

Hanson's Futarchy Manifesto here would be a solid basis for debate, if he still endorses any amount of it.
