As the race to be the next Tory leader gears up, one former favourite seems to be losing ground with her fellow MPs to the point where the media is reporting that she is “expected to” defect to Reform UK:

Will she defect to Reform UK this year?

This will resolve to YES if she publicly announces that she is defecting or if her party affiliation is shown as Reform on the parliamentary website here by the end of 2024 - https://members.parliament.uk/parties/commons

This will also resolve to YES if she spends some time as an independent MP before she becomes a Reform UK MP.

This will not resolve to YES if there is a merger between Reform and the Tories or some way that she is able to sit as both a Tory and a Reform MP.

How does this resolve if she takes the Lee Anderson route, i.e. expelled from the Conservative party, then joining Reform at a later date?

That counts as defecting to Reform.

Any route which involves sitting as a Reform MP (or standing down to join Reform or stand as a Reform candidate in a by-election) by the end of the year counts!
