The Conservative Party manifesto is likely to be published in early to mid-June - possibly as soon as the start of next week.
Will the manifesto include a commitment to abolish inheritance tax?
A partial abolition or significant reduction (eg. raising the threshold to an enormous figure) will not count, nor will a commitment to consider abolishing inheritance tax - it will need to be a clear promise that if the Conservatives win the election they will abolish inheritance tax.

Resolves NO, only mentions of “inheriting” are in the context of the last Labour government and EU law. https://manifesto.conservatives.com/
Would this resolve YES if the tax was abolished but replaced with an "inheritance recipient" / significantly increased tax on gifts received? i.e. if the tax no longer exists on the dying person's estate, but an equivalent (more or less) tax comes into effect on the beneficiaries?
I've been listening to Follow the Money by Paul Johnson and this is one of the floated replacements, apparently.
@Noit It would resolve to YES.
Since they’re so unlikely to win the election, this market is more about whether they’re going to make the promise and campaign on it than on the practicalities!
