Resolution criteria
The 2026 Toronto municipal election will be held on October 26, 2026, to elect the mayor and 25 city councillors. The market resolves to the number of incumbent councillors who win re-election in their respective wards. An incumbent is defined as a councillor currently serving on Toronto City Council as of the election date. Resolution will be determined by official results published by the City of Toronto Elections Service at https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/elections/.
Incumbents may decide they will not seek re-election: Brad Bradford is running for mayor. As of late December 2025, many other incumbents have not yet registered to run for re-election, though registration remains open until August 30, 2026.
