@ScottAlexander resolves NO.

@DanielTilkin @mods can you resolve please?

The parts describing common life paths and mental health pitfalls of various types of men are skillfully written, but the whole piece, and especially the second section on lost generations, comes across as far-right propaganda about traditional gender roles wearing the flayed skin of "feminism" as makeshift camouflage. There's no hint of the ruthlessly pragmatic nonpartisan rationalist worldview that I normally get from Aella's writing. As others have said, if this is hers then it's sorely disappointing.

@TheAllMemeingEye lmao that pretty much seals the deal XD

I had the same thought when reading but decided that no, writing style is too different. But not going to buy no at 4%

Review author buys into "men online" narratives in a way Aella could never. Or, if she did, I'd be terribly disappointed in her.

(Review was well-written and compassionate, but...)

bought Ṁ750 NO

No way. Author refers to herself as a “twenty-something” (I don’t see why Aella would go out of her way to lie), and the writing is imho worse than Aella’s. Feels more cliche
