Resolution criteria
This market resolves to YES if the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for the New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) is higher in June 2026 than in May 2026. It resolves to NO otherwise.
The primary source for resolution is the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) "Metropolitan Area Employment and Unemployment" news release. Data can be verified at the BLS website. The market will resolve based on the first published set of figures for those months; subsequent revisions by the BLS will not retroactively change the resolution.
