Taking somebody on as a trial for at least a few hours seems a low-cost test that will give a lot of information. Seems even a tiny one would be enough to satisfy YES for this question, and even if it does not work out in the longer run. Should also be pressing before election to capitalize on extra attention.
FWIW, I think @benshindel being active on so many different forecasting platforms is a huge bonus here in terms of fit, and to be able to post relevant material and build momentum.

I'd be open to discussing doing this starting in November. My twitter handle is the same as my Manifold handle and while I'm not as active on that account these days, I've previously been fairly competent at Twitter (and my follower ratio is elite XD). I'm also criminally in tune with the discourse. My proudest Twitter accomplishment is getting Matt Yglesias to follow me back.
