Note: I do NOT condone the use of any markets listed in this market. Stay in school, use your head.
Resolution will be judged on a case by case basis, however the criteria will remain somewhat static.
For the purposes of this market, a "dark web market" is defined as a marketplace where goods, usually of the illegal variety, are sold in exchange for currency, usually cryptocurrencies such as Monero (XMR) or Bitcoin (BTC), and primarily operates on the dark web/TOR.
Also for the purposes of this market, an "exit scam" can be defined as the administrators of a market intentionally stealing user funds with the intent to quit working on the market and shutting it down.
Both definitions are open to a bit of wiggle room, however in general they will be followed.
What I am looking for when resolving an option YES in order of relevancy:
A direct message from a market admin stating that an exit scam has happened (PGP signed preferably)
Disabled withdrawal with deposits remaining enabled
Prolonged downtime (after disabled withdrawals)
Dread activity or statement from a Dread admin
A market closing peacefully (a proper announcement is made and people are given time to withdraw) does NOT count as a YES resolution. However, the option will remain unresolved until the closure is completed to ensure a proper closure was completed. The circumstance outlined in this paragraph would result in a NO resolution.
In the event of a credible bust by authorities, the market's choice will be resolved to NO.
If a market is still operating at the time of this market's closure, its corresponding choice would resolve NO.
When adding an option to this market, please make sure you are adding a market and not a service that just so happens to operate on the dark web. The option will be N/a'ed and you will be notified of such. If you believe I am incorrect, feel free to debate me, I am more than willing to admit I am wrong.
I will most likely edit this description in the future to clean up grammar and any ambiguity.
Added definitions for those a little less in the know and two more markets to the market. I should probably stop saying market
