This market resolves YES if, before market close, The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Company International, or an affiliated corporate entity controlled by them does any of the following:
files a lawsuit in a US court (federal or state) against DHS or any other part of the US federal government regarding the DHS Pokémon video or their related use of Pokémon intellectual property.
files a complaint with a US federal entity that initiates a binding legal or administrative proceeding regarding the DHS Pokémon video or their related use of Pokémon intellectual property.
If a filing is made but later dismissed, withdrawn, or unsuccessful, it still counts as “pursuing legal action” and resolves YES.
Private negotiations or public statements alone do not count. Sending a cease-and-desist letter without filing or initiating a court/administrative proceeding does not count.
