IMO 2027-2031 planned host countries has already been laid out in the IMO 2026 final jury meeting.

The current plans are:

IMO 2027: Budapest, Hungary

IMO 2028: Saudi Arabia (KAUST)

IMO 2029: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

IMO 2030: Lausanne, Switzerland

IMO 2031: San Diego, USA

But many unforeseen things can change, including but not limited to: wars, pandemics, and political climate. For example, the IMO 2024 was originally planned for Ukraine but was cancelled after the Russian Invasion. IMO 2021 was forced to be online because of the pandemic, so the planned host was cancelled and replaced by the 2020 host country Russia. IMO 1980 was not even held due to war.

Each option resolves YES only if the IMO is successfully held in that said country AND in the same year.

You can add options for future IMOs as well, make it in the same format. Example:

"IMO 2067 held in Vatican City"
