I'm currently on a work-trial as a UI/UX Designer for Manifold Markets, and spent the past 5 days in Mexico City. My goal for this trip was to meet the team and see if I enjoy the work dynamic.
I also work at another startup within the e-sports sphere, and they have offered me a substantial raise with increased hours due to a recent change in headcount. It has a creative team, so I have coworkers to bounce ideas off of and collaborate with. The design system is already established, and I mainly do UI/UX , graphics, and UX research. The startup has many big name clients, and is doing very well for how young the company is. I am a part-time contract worker, but I want to transition into full-time as I just graduated from University.
I am unsure if Manifold plans on hiring more designers in the future. If they don't, I could be the only designer on the team, and would likely have to wear multiple hats and have a heavier workload. Prediction markets interest me, and I'm familiar with game mechanics which Manifold seems to be interested in. I have no clue if Manifold Markets is interested in hiring me full-time after my work-trial ends.
My last day of my work trial is July 8.

@GavrielK I should clarify that recieving a full-time position at the other company seems unlikely right now, which goes against my current goals.
