Alright did he do this on purpose? So annoying

@mods, any ideas?
I now realize that it's not clear whether I meant the actual phrase, or just an allusion to the phrase
@Ppau I would recommend that you resolve whichever way you would have given a ruling if asked about this beforehand. I won't feel bad if you resolve NO. I expect the guy who just bought bunch of NO will feel bad if you resolve YES. Let this be a lesson on writing resolution criteria :P
@Ppau You did put "It's a good model, sir" in quotes, which strongly suggests a literal interpretation (non-literal would be Zvi claims in first GPT-5 post that it's a good model). But even if you don't take the market literally, Zvi's post does not contain an unqualified "it's a good model sir". His post about o1 does:

For GPT-5 he says "in practice" (i.e. not generally) it's a good model, while also not being a "great" model. Both things he did not say about o1.
@Ppau I was leaning towards No, it makes more sense that way
I did try to think of edge cases but I guess I got lazy
Sorry Gurkenglas, seems like your honesty wasn't rewarded today
@Gurkenglas A bit perhaps. I did anticipate this discussion though and tried to argue the other side. YES didn’t make sense to me, so I went all in on NO.
