Description

This market resolves YES if Donald Trump makes a public statement that can reasonably be interpreted as a threat or intent to annex, invade, seize, acquire, or take control of the Poobahverse or Bafflington before 31 December 2026, 23:59 UTC.

It resolves NO if no such statement is made by the deadline.

Resolution criteria

• Eligible sources:

  • Verified posts from Donald Trump on Truth Social, X, or other official accounts

  • Recorded speeches, interviews, or press statements

  • Statements quoted by major news organisations

• The statement must:

  • Explicitly mention Poobahverse or Bafflington, or

  • Clearly reference them using an unmistakable nickname or description

• Jokes, obvious impersonations, memes by third parties, or AI deepfakes do not count

• Hyperbolic or joking tone still counts if the language implies takeover, annexation, or invasion

• Timezone for resolution: UTC

Notes

• Policy proposals, campaign rhetoric, and off-the-cuff remarks all qualify if publicly documented

• Diplomatic recognition, trade deals, or tourism promotion do not qualify

• If Trump becomes unreachable due to bans, exile, or golf, the market still resolves based on available evidence
