Options resolve YES if they happen in 2026. Otherwise NO. I'll give updates for important life changes and explanations whenever an option resolves YES.

Context:

  • I’m a young American man. I'm single as of market creation.

  • I work full time and have substantial savings.

  • I’m around six feet tall.

  • I'm shy and have no close friends. I was diagnosed with autism at a young age.

  • I've only previously dated one person, which was when I was in high school.

@traders I just got home from a date with my ex. We kissed at the end, but we're not back together yet.

The following options resolve YES:
- I go on a date
- I kiss someone

@Parallax

I meet a romantic partner’s family

Have you met your ex's family before? Would re-meeting them count for this option?

@EvanDaniel Good question. I've met my ex's father but not their mother. If we get back together and I meet their mother, resolves YES. Father wouldn't count for YES resolution since I've already met him.

That I 'enter a romantic relationship' was lower than 'a romantic partner breaks up with me' feels wrong...

Not sure which one needed to move but...

how accurate is your top quartile assessment? is the primary reason for your being in the top quartile because of your body/physique (excluding height) or is it because of your face, or your hair?

@lucien I meant facial attractiveness, but I realize I only wrote "attractiveness." I think my face is roughly in the top quartile among men my age, and my hair is positive but secondary. My physique wasn't part of that estimate and brings my overall attractiveness down because I'm very lean. I've removed the line from the description because it implied a broader claim than I intended.

@traders I just sent my first like on a dating app, so this option resolves YES.
