This market will resolve Yes if a household or business within Corpus Christi's water system has its water cutoff for reaons of overconsumption or an actual inability for the minipial water source to provide. This could happen in one of two scenarios:

  1. A regulation is passed and enforced that cuts off water for households or businesses for reasons of overconsumption.

  2. The city runs low enough on available water that a household or business is unable to draw water for organic reasons.

Either case requires substantive corroborating evidence from the household/business and the city to verify that it happened. Local news will suffice though, it doesn't have to be a big story. This market will NOT resolve yes if the reason for a cutoff is merely a bureaucratic lapse, failure to pay a fee, or other reason unrelated to a dearth of total water supply.
