Is iOS app sideloading going to be geographically restricted by Apple? [at the end of 2024 specifically]

Conditional on Apple enabling the possibility to sideload apps on iOS. If it's geo-restricted at the end of 2024, resolves YES. If it's initially not geo-restricted but is restricted before the end of 2024, then this question still resolves YES.

The spirit of this question is whether Apple is going to restrict this ability, it shouldn't count if it's forced to do so by any regulation (for example in China). It will resolve YES, for example, if in the US there won't be any regulation forcing companies to restrict app sideloading and Apple still doesn't enable this feature in the US.

If sideloading is not available before the end of 2024, resolves N/A.

Stable and beta releases count.

I had this question asked in my market too

Gonna buy NO, apple likes to keep stuff uniform

@firstuserhere But they recently introduced new system module which allows for geo-restrictions

bought Ṁ20 YES from 29% to 45%
bought Ṁ10 of NO

@MrLuke255 I did not know rhat

"If it's initially geo-restricted but is open before the end of 2024, then this question still resolves YES. If it's geo-restricted at the end of 2024, resolves NO." This seems backwards for this question

@probajoelistic Why, could you elaborate?

This question asks specifically about the point in time at the end of 2024. I could add this to the title

I think what you meant was, "If it's initially geo-restricted but is open before the end of 2024, then this question still resolves NO. If it's geo-restricted at the end of 2024, resolves YES." ?

@probajoelistic Yes, you're right. Thanks and sorry for the confusion
