I’m in the US, so not super familiar with exact parliamentary proceedings. But I understand that a government can face a kind of no confidence vote and be forced to “dissolve” in certain situations. I’m mainly trying to gauge how bad the fallout (politically speaking) will be for the rape gang scandal.
@MikiyasTsegaye it's mainly elon musk expressing his fixations on twitter. There are various degrees of interest about this story, with the greatest focus coming from the far right, but most of the electorate have much more pressing concerns. It's not "political fallout" that's likely to have a significant effect on the government that just took power. It may, however, have long-term ramifications for UK institutions, but those are processes which occur over a much longer period of time than the average twitter user's attention span.
