Resolution Criteria:

  1. The market will resolve as "Yes" if:

    • A federal law is passed and signed into effect that specifically revokes or terminates any of the following benefits for former U.S. Presidents upon felony conviction:
      a) Secret Service protection
      b) Presidential pension
      c) Medical benefits

    • The law must be enacted before or on December 31, 2025

  2. The market will resolve as "No" if:

    • No such law is passed and enacted by December 31, 2025

    • A proposed bill fails to become law by the specified date

  3. Resolution will be based on:

    • Official congressional records

    • The official website of the White House or relevant federal agencies

    • Reputable national news sources reporting on the enactment of such legislation

  4. The market will resolve as "Invalid" if:

    • A law is passed that modifies former Presidents' benefits but does not specifically address felony convictions

    • Legal challenges prevent the implementation of a passed law by the resolution date

Additional Notes:

  • The law must specifically target former Presidents convicted of felonies, not just any federal official

  • The law must affect at least one of the three mentioned benefits (Secret Service, pension, medical)

  • Proposed legislation that has not been fully enacted into law by the resolution date does not qualify for a "Yes" resolution
