Resolves YES if at least one candidate running without a political party affiliation wins a voting seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in the November 3, 2026 general elections, including any resulting runoff. “Independent,” “Unaffiliated,” and “No Party Preference” candidates qualify. Third-party candidates, non-voting delegates, and candidates elected under a party label who subsequently become independent do not qualify. Endorsements by political parties, previous party membership, and congressional caucus arrangements do not affect eligibility. Kevin Kiley and Bill Hill count if elected as independents. Resolution will use certified election results; otherwise resolves NO.
