The fact that they've recently responded to a trademark dispute with Anthropic over the name "Clawdbot" by renaming it to "Moltbot" increases my confidence that Anthropic is fully aware of Clawdbot and is trying to find a way to have a productive relationship. If their plan was to wholesale ban Clawdbot users I don't think they'd have resolved this one so amicably. So buying NO.

I'm genuinely confused. It doesn't seem to break TOS in any way. I literally max out my 20x max subscription every single week, so I'm not so sure how this is a problem.

they removed access for OpenCode recently

so it seems likely they’ll eventually block Clawdbot if it takes too much usage (but it’s not a direct Claude Code competitor like OpenCode).

Either that or what antigravity did by reducing the rate limits (they did that for Claude code last year too)

I guess the trend in question is getting a quota of API usage in exchange for a monthly subscription.

In the past it was limited to chat interface but as it expands to code and other areas, they want lock in so if Clawdbot affects usage of Cowork they might cut it eventually.

So let’s say you’re getting like $200 of inference for $100 there’s some arbitrage, but Anthropic likely doesn’t consider that “abuse”
