Hi @MP. It seems to me like the contracts being locked in, as stated in the news that @SirCryptomind shared below, implies that Daniel Ricciardo will drive for AlphaTauri in the first race of 2024. Could you resolve this market accordingly or share in the comments why you have not yet done so?
@Jacy I guess I'm biased here because I have bets on the other outcomes but it says it resolves to what happens to Ricciardo's status during the first race of 2024. That hasn't happened yet. It's extremely likely he races for Alphatauri('s successor) but things happen. In 2022 Mazepin was slated to drive for Haas until March 5th.
@SethWalder Yea but Mazepin situation was pulling Russian athletes from many sports and Haas dropping his dads Russian Sponsorship.
I went and followed comments below: here is what I posted.
He had said that red bull plays games and such so that felt like what he was waiting for, than I realized he replied to me and I never saw it until today, so I made it clear my view at the time.
If it stays open, alright, that is his choice. I just don't see a real reason except unfortunate death.
@SirCryptomind Yeah, I'm just saying if there had been a "Will Nikita Mazepin race for Haas in the first race" market it would have been at 99% in January and it would have resolved No. The description says the question is what Ricciardo's status is for the first race and the first race hasn't happened yet and it is not impossible there is another outcome. Therefore it should stay open until the race occurs. I think it's clear based on the description.
@SirCryptomind tbh I think it's reasonable to wait. Extremely likely he drives for AlphaTauri but things happen
@MP Are you still not resolving yet even though contracts are locked in, its been 45 days, nothing is changing.

@MP I believe that to be a mistake, but I respect it. Even if I am upset that I've sunk most of my balance into this expecting a quick resolution! 🤣
@Tagger Yea would be nice to get it resolved. They confirmed the contract of both for Alpha Tauri. And if anything were to happen, can just reopen and re-resolve. The only thing that would void the contract is a lawsuit by Ricciardo or a death of Ricciardo. But if the creator says to wait, I guess we wait.
I need to remember not to participate in these long tail markets and if I do, to keep it under 500 mana.
@MP I must've missed this message and mis understood when you would resolve. I figured you were resolving once it was confirmed redbull was not getting rid or swapping of Perez and replacing him with Ricciardo.
@MP That is weird, isn't it. Surely it increases the likelihood that he either won't have a seat (if the injury is worse than originally thought) or that he stays at alpha tauri (as there is now less time to evaluate him for the red bull seat).
