I've actually let the lead slip a bit in the last few days (xmas was not the most active period of the year, as it turned out)

However, there are fewer than 30k step to go (my best single day this year was ~33k, IIRC), so still pretty much on track

198k through 14 Dec and an important milestone: for the first time since the start of the year, I'm ahead of pace (13,662 steps per day gets to 5 million in a leap year; I was at 13,663 at the end of yesterday)

December so far: 107,339 (also, updated description)

I took it a bit easier the first few days, but want to get a big week this week and build some buffer (in case I get sick or just starts to get unbearably hot to walk outside)

@dlin007 Posted. I took it easy the first few days (after the last week on November being the largest week of the year in number of steps), but I recognise the risk of complacency, so I will make a push this week to build a buffer

Updated description with results from November and I'm basically caught up with the deficit from the start of the year

It is certainly getting easier. Now, a 15k day doesn't even register in next-day fatigue (it takes >20k to get to that).

One of the habits that I picked up is to take some calls while walking outside which can easily add 5-10k in the day without taking up any extra time (and it just feels overall healthier than sitting at my desk all day)

I've been posting more regular updates on the November head-to-head with @dlin007 , but this main market now seems underpriced

I'm up to 370,348 in November and the month is not over.

@LuisPedroCoelho jeez, I really am in danger now. gap has increased slightly to 11k when i cranked out 16k days for 3 days. Can we agree to only one final update on maybe 27th then go blind till we both give our final update on 1 Dec?

November started off slow due to travel, but I'm catching up to the target (dashed line, which is 15,500 — a little more than what was strictly needed, which was 15,394)

This market is now "Will Luis get sick before the end of the year?" because if I don't, 5 million steps are within reach

@dlin007 sure :) I had a slow start to the month because of some travels, but I do plan to do 450k in November

@LuisPedroCoelho cool...I'm going to be around 175k steps at day 10. want to stake 4k mana each on who walks the most steps? Or 5k for me and 4k for you since you're starting a little behind.

October was the strongest month yet, >500k

At this pace, I will get to 5 million even though I am still around 100k steps behind pace (or-to put it another way-pace is 13662 steps per day, I'm at around 13300 rn)
