@firstuserhere Yes but I think prompt engineering rather than fine tuning so it’s not that similar

I know of grammarly go and even something by Google but these are generic ai email writing assistants. How much personal style do you want? The major bottleneck is not the tech which already exists, since long ago, but privacy laws

@firstuserhere I would argue the tech is also a bottleneck, if you want it to be any good.

@firstuserhere I disagree, I've had many important emails written for me by GPT-4 which I tweaked a little bit it was able to write v well, esp once i gave it personal details like names and places

@firstuserhere It would certainly need to have access to my previous emails and change the style drastically based on them. I don't think any privacy laws prevent you from giving permission for such data voluntarily, though?

@jskf I find that GPT-4 fails miserably at this for my purposes right now.

@firstuserhere Not lots. Maybe if I did it would get better, but I'm not expecting it to get that much better. I guess I've been using chatgpt. The non-chat API is probably better.

@jskf I use the different conversations feature very much to organize different types of chats. I have made 7-8 types of AI assistants and just share the chat to myself to start convo with that type of assistant. One is an email writer, one to help analyse some data, etc. I just start a new conversation with all the context pre loaded without polluting the base context. One is a gpt-4 conversation with lots of info about manifold pre loaded too

@jskf That's obviously subjective but if I can't imagine having written the end result then I can't say it's in my "personal style".
