Seeing as it has been the only country in the middle east with a functional democracy, and since 1948 has thrived under different elective government's despite political instabilities and wars - Israel's parliamentry democracy represented by a large number of parties with universal suffrage for all citizens, regardless of race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation, who are of voting age compared to the plethora of neighbouring countries who don't practice democracy and their innaugural processes are often biased based on several religious and socio-political sentiments.
