@MichaelWheatley would Dune 4 still be Messiah, or would it start Children (the best part of Dune imo)?
@Stralor I don't think he's said whether the Messiah script covers the one book in a single film but he has seemed pretty clear about this being his final Dune (things change obvs) so it wouldn't make sense if it was 'incomplete'?
@shankypanky ah, I also read Michael's res criteria which explain Dune 4-ish would have to be book 3 or 4
@Stralor interesting specification tbh since the Messiah script hasn't been greenlit or defined as yet. I wonder what happens if he does pick up Dune 4 and it's the same as 1/2 where it's a split (of the second) book volume lol
