Very ambitious! Valar atomics seems like a cool idea. But will they succeed?

I'll resolve YES if they succeed in building a nuclear fission plant that pulls carbon out of the atmosphere in 10 years. If they don't meet this or go bankrupt by then I'll resolve NO.

Hey, your market closes tonight / already closed. I think you should change the close date to 10 years from now, by hovering over the close date to the right above the graph and clicking the pencil.

edit: I updated it for you!

With CO2 at 400 ppm (moles/moles) you get roughly 1.2 grams of CO2 per m^3 of air. For a fan (so very little resistance) 10CFM/watt (omg the units) translates to roughly 200 J/m^3 so you will spend 200 J to get 1.2 g of CO2 out of the air. For comparison C+O2=CO2 gives off 24000 J/g. Not as bad as I thought unless I made a major mistake in the calculations, the energy used to operate the fans seems like a minor part of the budget. But how will you separate the CO2?

@mariopasquato Could be membrane separation, seems most likely to me
