Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to YES if Tadej Pogačar is the official winner of the general classification (the Red Jersey / Maillot Rojo) of the 2026 Vuelta a España. It will resolve to NO if any other rider wins the general classification, or if the race is cancelled without an official winner being declared.

The primary sources of truth for this market will be:

• The official website of La Vuelta

• The official race results on ProCyclingStats

This market will resolve based on the standings established at the conclusion of the final stage (scheduled for September 13, 2026). Any subsequent retroactive disqualifications or changes to the standings made after the podium ceremony on the final day will not be considered for resolution.

Background

The 2026 Vuelta a España (the 81st edition of the race) runs from August 22 to September 13, 2026, starting with an individual time trial in Monaco and ending with an uphill finish in Granada.

Having already secured his fifth Tour de France title in July 2026, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) enters the race as the heavy favorite. Pogačar has only contested the Vuelta a España once before, finishing third overall in his Grand Tour debut in 2019. A victory in the 2026 edition would allow him to complete the career "Grand Tour Trilogy" by winning all three of cycling's Grand Tours (the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France, and the Vuelta a España).
