If he’s assassinated, he’s no longer the Commander, “the instructions” are worthless.

The key word is “try”, the network (ie Fox) can report anything as a “try” - “hurricane made land fall in Florida yesterday, clearly a sign that Iran tried to assassinate the visiting President”
