Yes: Whatever your additional conditions, if you think "the reward can only be claimed if you bet on the market" is part of your desired revamp.
No: If you think they're perfect as they are.
They should be revamped, but in a different way: If you think boosts should be revamped, but not in a way "so the reward can only be claimed if you bet on the market".
Boosts should be removed: If you think the option to boost markets should be removed from the site completely.

If I understand it correctly - currently you can scroll through the front page, click a bunch of 3 mana gain buttons, not give a hoot about the market at all, and waste the market creator's reach.

Would it be better if boost rewards were only given to the users who actually decided to commit any mana to the market?

Yes options include a lot of different solutions - you could make boosts impression-based as opposed to click-based an lower their costs, you could not do that and simply reduce or eliminate the reward the market creator gets from signed up users that come from boosts etc.

This could be a figment of my imagination but empirically I do notice that when I claim the bounty but don't bet in the market, I typically see fewer bounties, and vice versa

@twink_joan_didion I doubt it. I never bet on boosted markets and I get them all the time.

@JamesColiar Ok yeah maybe lol - I just stopped seeing them eventually and then bet in one and start seeing them everywhere again
