It is my prediction that media coverage of COVID, (and likely also official COVID positive tests numbers) will surge by the end of summer 2023, as presidential candidates start campaigning. My prediction is that it will return so that it can be used as a talking point later in the election cycle to attack candidates.

This market resolves to YES if the concensus of convincing arguments in the comments indicates that there has been a "surge" of news/social media coverage of coverage of covid/coronavirus, particularly if there are stories related to policies or politics, for the period of late spring/summer 2023, as compared to Sept-Dec2022

I will not bet on this market.
