Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if, before December 31 11:59:59 PM ET, U.S. Representative Ro Khanna publicly announces his candidacy or files official paperwork to run for President of the United States in the 2028 election cycle (or an earlier special election, if applicable). Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.

Qualifying actions include:

• An official statement or formal public announcement directly from Ro Khanna or his campaign team declaring his candidacy for President.

• The formation and filing of a presidential exploratory committee or official campaign committee with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) via fec.gov.

Merely expressing that he is "considering" a bid, "keeping options open," or attending summits for prospective candidates will not qualify unless accompanied by an explicit declaration of candidacy or an FEC committee filing.

Resolution will be verified using filings on fec.gov and major mainstream news outlets (e.g., Associated Press, Reuters, The New York Times, The Washington Post).
